Top Projects:

  • Pom Pom Animals
In this project, I worked alone. I made pom poms using yarn and other cool accessories.
  • In this project, we bought plain phone cases and turned them into awesome cases with cool materials we had lying around our home. I did this project with my friend, Maggie and we cooperated and worked together very nicely. Overall, I think that this project went pretty smoothly, but I don't think that we were learning anything from it, so we decided to work on different projects and split apart. It was very simple, just using awesome, bright, sparkly materials, glue them onto a clear phone case and, BAM, you got yourself a super cool phone case! sadly, we did not achieve our goal, because we were going to sell them and make some money for ourself, but we just ended up keeping them. I would say this project was a fail, because we did NOT end up selling the phone cases. This was a fun project, but I didn't see it working out. We

Top Reflections:

  • How could I make it better? More interesting?I can make it better by putting more time into them and maybe if I can work with someone on this project, I can sell the pom poms more. I really want to improve on making them quicker because I keep postponing it and I can't just forget about it. I want to raise a lot of money and steer this project in the right direction because this is my first time and I don't want to give up. When I know that I am doing this project for a good reason, I want to keep pushing forward and succeed!
  • What surprised you?
  • What surprised me was that I thought that my project would take a lot less than I thought. I have things that are getting in the way and I wish that I had more time. I have to be more responsible and make more time. I can know that I can make this happen!

  • What did you learn that you can apply to future projects?
I learned that these kind of projects require hard work. This project took longer and was harder than I thought. So, from this project, I learned that if I want to create another project, I have to work hard and make time for this. I have to be a hard worker for my next project. Because if I think this is going to be easy peasy lemon squeezey, then I might as well head for the door right now.

  • One example of a FAILure I had was ...
I failed my project with pompom animals because I didn't pay a lot of attention to the project and didn't work on it. I hope I will not ditch my next project just like I did with this one, but I think I like my new project better. I will work very hard on my project, because I really like it and I know that I have to get things done. I know I can do this, because the Cricut printer is in Mr. Whitmers room and I can't take it home, so I can work on it during school.

  • Our next will be...
Making valentines for valentine's day, because we agreed that it would be a great idea to use the cricut printer because it cuts perfectly. would be good because we can make cards for special people and it would look amazing with the cricut. We could borrow some materials from the art room and we make so many cards. We plan on making cards for our friends.

  • Describe your progress towards your goals: I think that we are doing pretty good with the phone cases and they are looking awesome! I brought in four phone cases and Maggie brought in two. She brought in a lot of stickers and we spent a lot of time cutting and pasting. We want to decorate the phone cases perfectly and we know when to stop. I just think that we need more cases to be able to sell them, so we need to work harder on making the phone cases quicker.
    • I used this reflection because I think that I put my best effort and work into this. I really thought this one through a lot and put some detail into it. I put what I need to work on and what we are doing good.

Top Critiques:

  • I think that this is a very good idea. I would suggest making the process to make it easier
  • Do you think that you could put it on anything, like a keychain, by running it through it?
  • You should make a Noodle Phone case and a Noodle Phone Charger
    • I picked these critiques because I feel like these gave me some ideas for projects and what I could do in the future.
