Cardboard Crafts

Challenge:
Finding the materials will be a challenge because only one of them is a household material.
Challenge Starters & Examples
Learning:
We want to learn how to use our materials correctly and we are hoping to sell them in the end.
We are trying to make something that already exists better. (Look at the Thinkering Studio Rubric for some ideas.)
Materials:
  • Unflavored Gelatin
  • Water
  • Food Coloring
  • Essential Oils
  • Duck Tape Rolls
  • Salt
  • Round Piece of Plastic or Cardboard
  • Crayons
  • Heat gun
Main Steps:
  • Put the round piece of plastic or cardboard on the duck tape roll.
  • We will do a reflection every other day.
Time:
4-5 weeks
Resources:
  • We are going to figure it out by ourselves.
  • I am going to help my partner when she needs help.
Difficulties:
Making our decor and selling
We might have to start over
Sharing:
Sharing/Teaching/Paying It Forward
  • We will sell hopefully
  • Our friends our are main audience and we hope to get bigger to the whole school.
Evaluation:
Our project will NEVER be good enough we will always be improving.
