1. Complete portfolio & reflection

End of the Year Reflection:

This is the final week of school, and we are working on are portfolios and reflections. This year I have mainly learned how to build/code your own online video games from multiple websites. Encluding Scratch, and Gamestar Mechanic. I have enjoyed them as well as learning. This is my final year at BCS until I move to Texas, and I will really miss this class. I will continue to work on Scratch even if I am across the United States...
6/1/15
1. Work On Scratch
2.5
2.5
I have started a new project on Scratch called: The Internet - Mozilla Firefox. So far I have created a searchbar (Which cannot yet be used), the Firefox logo. I only have one final week to work on this project until the end of the year, so I will try to get as much done as possible.
5/26/15
1. Survive and complete missions
2
3
This week I have almost beat the game. I have one single mission left until its done. I cant complete it because my pups run into the stream and drown. I take them out and they wander back in again. I have gotten sick of Wolf Quest and I want to continue with Scratch.
5/18/15
1. Visit all territories to complete the mission on Wolf Quest
3
4
On Wolf Quest, my plan said to visit all the territories to comnplete the first mission. Turns out, I did that, got a mate, found a den, marked my new territory, and had pups! I got so much more done then I thought I would! That is why I have my 'Achievment' a 4!
5/11/15
1. Work on money cotumes on Scratch
2
2
Change of plans; I started my new Wolf Quest project. I have never played it before but it looked fun when other people played it. But before that, I added a little "Costomer Rating" Thing, and I added more money costumes.
5/4/15
1. Work on Scratch

2. Get more ideas
3
2
As my plan says, I got some ideas and worked on my project. I deleted the shop for now; now I started to work on the money costumes. I'm going to continue doing that until at least 100.

1. Work on the shop on Scratch

2. Get more ideas
2.5
1.5
This week I also had one day because on Monday I was home sick. But what I did today is I built a little 'Close' icon so when you open the shop you can now close it by clicking on the X. I got didn't mention that I also worked on the description of the game. I got my cousin to love & favorite my game. Now I have 2 loves and 2 favorites...
I4/20/15
1. Exactly the same as last week.

2. Cool Math Games
3
1
Monday we had M-STEP testing so our class was cut down to about 15 minutes, so our teacher just let us play Cool Math Games. On Tuesday I continued to work on the shop. I didn't get a lot one since I only had one day. At least I almost got the main part done, but I still needs a little work.
4/13/15
1. Continue working on Scratch
2.5

I have mastered the broadcast block this week. First I watched an online video witch didn't help, I went and talked to the teacher, then tried it on my own a figured it out. So far I am working on a little shop, which you can open when you click on a tiny $ symbol. I am eventually going to add upgradable tools, such as grills, stoves, knifes, pots, etc.
3/30/15
1. Get more ideas

2. Work on the new cooking game on Scratch
3
1
I have decided I want to do a new project at home. It is to develop a game on Roblox Studio. You can make your own games by adding and customizing parts, such as wedges, cylinders, rectangles, etc.
It is similar to scratch, you can script and design your own games that the whole world can play. Plus I is a lot more fun!
3/23/15
1. Start working on a new game on Gamestar

2. Play others cooking games to get ideas
2
3
I got extra things done this week. Like my plan says, I started working on a game on Gamestar. I also got ideas from other peoples cooking games. But, I got extra done by starting my own cooking game! I am doing all these cooking things because I love to cook. Right now I'm working on a shop, were you can buy and sell different styles of furniture. You will also be able to upgrade your tools, to make them work better and all of that good stuff.
3/16/15
1. Complete challenges on Gamestar Mechanic
2.5
1
I learned some important things about Gamestar. I figured out how to change the background, length, width, music, gravity, and a lot more! When I figured that out, I started to make a different game. Now that I know how to do all this stuff, I can make a better game than the one I already published!
3/2/15
1. Work on Breathless Logo
3.5
2
This week, I successfully accomplished my goal to make a logo. I made cool sound effects that go along with it, too.Like background music, and snaps whenever a letter appears. Next week I might work a little more on it, like more details and shapes. I also put together a temporary 'Start' sign. It needs lots of work, so I know what I will be doing next week!

1. Work on Breathless on Scratch, Title it and all of that stuff.
3
1.5
One of my goals for this project is to successful make my own logo for my game and all my others in the future. The basic structure is almost done, but I have already added cool sound affects as well. I have to keep changing the timing for the letters and stuff... trial and error!

1. Finish challenges to earn more things for my games on Gamestar Mechanic
3
2
This week I played around with Gamestar. I realized that when you beat challenges, you earn stuff for your own games. This week I did some challenges, so next week I can work on a good game. Now I have all this cool stuff, so I can make an even better game than before!

1. Work on Shipwreck Escape, my first real Scratch game.

1. Add cool sound effects to game

2. Fix things up

I learned how to be able to click and drag and item from your inventory, plus making it interact with other objects. I also learned how to move sprites move back layers, hiding it behind other sprites. For example: I built a little rusty key from pixels, and moved it behind a candle. To get to the key and pick it up, you have to light it with the lighter that you find on a shelf. As it slowly melts, the key appears and can be picked up. Soon I will add to this game next week so I can use the key on a locked door. Can't wait till next week!
1/5/15
1. Fix up & add to wiki

2. Work on main project: Scratch
3
2
What I want to learn: when you click an item in your inventory, it will follow your hand and release when you stop dragging; it will fly back into your inventory. If you release the object on another object: like a candle, it will interact with it.
