Thinkering Studio Project Proposal

NBA Blog
The challenge is to find information, and get people to look at it.
Challenge Starters & Examples
I am making an NBA blog to teach people about what's going on in the league, and which players and what teams to watch.
I will be challenged because I don't know much about blogging, or how to get people to look at it.
How will this stretch you? (Look at the Thinkering Studio Rubric for some ideas.)
My materials are a computer, maybe an iPad, and friends.
Main Steps:
  • To set up the blog
Not sure, maybe two months.
  • Other people have inspired me to do this like the people that have been doing this in thinkering studio. I also love NBA. What words did you search the wiki for when checking?
  • My friends, parents, websites, and teachers are good resources
  • How will you develop your PLN (personal learning network)?
Setting up everything will probably be the biggest difficulty. I will ask friends and Mr. Whitmer for help on that.
How might your project fail? (Conduct a pre-mortem)
Sharing/Teaching/Paying It Forward
  • How will you share what you have learned/created/made/produced with others?
  • Who is your target audience?
My project will be good if I get ten people that like it.
How should we evaluate your success?
How will that be "visible" to others? (Demonstrate) Can your progress be measured throughout the project?
(Look at the Thinkering Studio Rubric for some ideas or possibly Rubistar.)
Design your own rubric.
I am making an NBA Blog because I want to share knowledge about the sport, and it is for everyone.
